• Do you want us to calculate the price?
  Do you want a pro-forma invoice? Call, fax, email, or mail CoHort Software with a list of what you are considering buying and request a pro-forma invoice (a formal price quote).
• "CoPlot Pro" - CoPlot Pro includes all of the features regularly in CoPlot and CoStat, and also includes the "Simons 2" subset selection procedure.
• "CD" - The CD has installers for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. The installers include Java, which is automatically installed if your computer doesn't have it. The CD also includes a generic form of CoPlot Pro for command line installation on other operating systems. The CD also includes CoStat Pro, all of the optional CoPlot files (the icon library, the world map data files, and the detailed U.S. map data files), and the HTML form of the manuals.
• Other Operating Systems - If you would like support for another operating system, please send an email telling us which operating system you would like to see supported.
• Customs and VAT Taxes on Shipments to Outside the U.S. - The prices above do not include customs or VAT taxes. CoHort does not pay these taxes. Customers outside the U.S. will pay these taxes when they receive the package containing the software. To avoid these taxes legally, use the "Nothing shipped" option.
• Tax Implications of "Nothing shipped" - If you select only "nothing shipped" items, we will send you a receipt by email, but nothing will be sent by regular mail. California has stated that purely electronic sales (such as this) are currently exempt from the sales tax that would normally be applied to sales to customers in California. Since nothing is sent through the mail, this method will bypass the normal methods that other governments use to collect other taxes; therefore, paying those taxes, if any, becomes your responsibility. Also, note that you can place a separate order for just the CDs and/or printed manuals at any time (including later on the same day).
• Student Price - Students in a degree program receive a 50% discount off of the standard license prices. The discount does not apply to the printed manuals or the shipping cost.
• No Academic Discount - Sorry, there is no special academic discount. Most of our sales are to academic institutions, so we tried to set one low price for everyone.
• Print Your Own Manuals? We allow you to print portions of the HTML manuals for your own use. But there are advantages to getting the offical printed manuals from CoHort Software:
  • They are printed on both sides of the paper.
  • They are nicely bound.
  • They cost the same or less than the online manuals printed on your printer.
  • Most important, they have page number references instead of hypertext links (which are useless on paper).
• U.S. Dollars - All prices are in U.S. dollars.
• Registration Numbers - With each license ("new" or "upgrade"), we send you "Your Name" and "Registration Number" which you should enter in the program's "Help : Register" dialog box.
• Free Updates - While your license if valid, we will automatically mail a CD to you with the new version, or we will let you know how to download the new version. Your previous registration name and number will work on these updates.
• Larger Orders / Volume Discounts - Volume discounts for the licenses are available. The discounts don't apply to the cost of the printed manuals. Basically, the discounts are: 10% off 3 or more licenses, 20% off 5 or more, 30% off 15 or more, 40% off 30 or more, 50% off 50 or more. You can send a list of what you are considering buying to CoHort Software and request a pro-forma invoice (a formal price quote).
• No Reseller Discount - Sorry, the programs are only available directly from CoHort Software.
• Upgrade from CoPlot 6.x to CoPlot Pro 6.x - If you already have CoPlot 6.x, you can deduct $280 from the license prices listed above on your first year's order. If you already have CoStat 6.x, you can deduct $140 from the license prices listed above on your first year's order.
• Shipping Time - Orders in the U.S. should arrive in 3 - 4 business days. Orders from outside the U.S. should arrive in 7 - 14 business days.
