Download the Optional CoPlot Files

The optional files are distributed as .zip files.

  1. Download (into your cohort6 directory) whichever .zip files you want from the list below.
  2. Unzip the .zip files into your cohort6 directory.
The unzip program must be able to handle long file names (not just DOS-style 8character.3character names).
Windows users may already have WinZip (www.winzip.com) or PKZip (www.pkware.com).
Mac users may already have StuffIt Expander to unzip the .zip file.
Unix/Linux users may already have unzip.
  3. Delete or archive the .zip files.

Here are the optional files:

Icons
If you want the full set of icons for making drawings with CoPlot's Create : Image : Browse : Icons, download icons.zip (654 KB) into your cohort6 directory and unzip it in your cohort6 directory. The standard CoPlot installation includes 5 icon groups. icons.zip includes the full set of 70 groups. Copyright: This icon collection is in a special format for use in CoPlot and is copyright (C) CoHort Software, 2000. The icons are not in a format suitable for use in other programs. For public domain icons, see other sites on the web, such as www.MediaBuilder.com.
World Map Datafiles
If you want to use CoPlot to make maps, download worldmap.zip (2.0 MB) into your cohort6 directory and unzip it in your cohort6 directory. The geographic data in these data files is useful for making maps of large areas (from one U.S. state up to the entire world). These files also include all of the city and town names, so you should download them even if you just want to detailed U.S. maps.
